Swiftcover by name, certainly not by nature. My car damaged mid December 2008, still in the same condition mid January 2009. Beginning to wonder if it'll ever be repaired.
Opted for a £250 voluntary excess only to discover when I claimed that Swift had also added an extra £250 compulsory excess on top! For that kinda dosh I could have got much cheaper and more transparent, honest insurance elsewhere.
Use Swiftcover as an insurer at your own peril.
- Idiot call centre clucking chickens.
- Compulsory excesses buried in small print (Be very wary!)
- 0871 numbers 6 pence a minute.
- Only one repair centre based in Lichfield, still waiting for them to call and repair my car.
- On line documentation worthless.
- Really poor communication all round.
