Review of Domestic & General Washing Machine Cover

This company has gone so downhill. I am about to cancel my totally pointless insurance with them. My washing machine stopped mid spin and I could not empty it or get it to do anything.

When I called the insurance company I was told to pull my machine out and remove the pipes from the back to check they were clear! I am only a 5 ft female and told them I couldn't get it out. They then advised me to go and ask a neighbour to pull the machine out!! I then said if the tubes are clear but I can't get them back in the machine will you send someone out and they said no because the machine would not be intact. So I couldn't win, I had to check the pipes before they would come out but if I couldn't get the pipes back in they still wouldn't come out.

I said I thought it was their job to check these things hence being insured but they said no I had to check the pipes. Don't use this company if you can help it! The staff are also so rude it is unbelievable. They talk to you like you are stupid and as if they really can't be bothered.
