My partner was hit from behind, the third party admitted full liability and Tesco badgered, sorry, wanted my other half to go through their insurance and cut out her own insurer. Boy what a bad move.
They advised someone would come to inspect the car but this did not happen, she had to drive a 35 mile round trip at her own cost and take time off work, and make it up.
They assured me that Fords would be able to complete the repair, but the guy from Hendy who collected the car said different and that they were unable to repair the gearbox issue damaged since the car was involved in the accident and hit up the rear end.
Phoned Tesco again and they promised to phone me back to re-assure, true to form nothing again. Lots of promises with no follow through. That is the quality of service received from Tesco, so let this be a warning to you all.
Really wish she had gone through her own insurance company but too late now, would have been worth being out of pocket for a couple of months for the excess, less stress and hassle of not knowing.
I nearly forgot the hire car - was advised this would be delivered, wrong again, she had to take time off work again to go and collect the car. To add more insult she also has to return the car and take more time off work to do this.
As for the return of her car we wait to see how she is stitched up for this also. |
