Review of Elephant Car Insurance

Two weeks ago a driver hit my car whilst it was parked and did not leave a note. In those two weeks since informing Elephant of this the following has happened:

1. From the quote I sent my car has been deemed written off despite the repairs not being much, no Elephant engineer seeing the car and the condition of the car prior to accident not being taken into account for value of car (trade price based on model that was 36k new, mine was 57k new).
2. The only contact I have recieved is that my insurance has been cancelled with one day notice. I am now transportless.
3. I have had to chase constantly.
4. I STILL do not have a claim manager on my claim so have no one to discuss the issue with

They may be cheap but there is a reason for that.
