Swiftcover refuse to provide the breakdown assistance paid for. If you do actually manage to get through to them without being hung up on, and if they do actually agree to send someone out, note to lone females, you could be waiting well over an hour like I was on saturday evening.
The mechanic misdiagnosed a head gasket fault, so I took the car into my own mechanic who took the engine apart to find there was no faulty head gasket. Now Swiftcover are refusing to assist me if I break down again with any of the symptoms described previously. They state if I break down with head gasket symptoms, they will not attend.
Swiftcover have subcontracted their breakdown to two other ineffective companies, none of whom liase with each other. So as my insurance is tied up with my breakdown cover, I will have to take an extra breakdown cover out!!!!
