Review of Geek Squad Mobile Phone Cover

I was offered this cover when I bouth an iphone on contract over the phone . I was assured the contract would be with O2, as I did not want to continue as a Carphone Warehouse customer.

I said I did not want Geek Squad, not even the two weeks free trial. I was covered for insurance and did not need technical support to use a phone! I then checked with the accounts dept and discovered it was on the system, so asked for it to be removed and was assured it would be. Six months on, I realise 7 monthly payments of £11 have been taken from my account.

I called them and asked for a refund. They said it would take 8 weeks to investigate and then I might be refunded. I pointed out they had been stealing money from my account and asked where they got my bank details. They said from Carphone Warehouse!
