Review of Golfplan Golf Insurance

I spent a good amount of time looking at this type of specialist insurance after a couple of break ins at my club and generally a feeling about my own liability to others on the course. There are a number of providers out there who offer golf insurance at quite a range of prices.

I boiled it down to two - Golfplan and Carrick Neill who offer very comprehensive policies and went with Golfplan as I liked the service I got on the end of the phone and my questions were handled very professionally.

Golf insurance is like insurance as a whole - you get what you pay for and in this area the cheaper providers have got some big exclusions such as no cover for theft from car overnight.
