Churchill's "Service" is disgraceful. We bought car insurance with windscreen and international cover.
We reported a massive gap in our windscreen immediately. We were told it was a 24 hour international line. It was not.
After 3 days of chasing them, we were told they couldn't sort it until we were due to return to Britain. So we lost nearly a week of our 2 week holiday. I was promised to be suitably compensated. They offered me £50 which didn't cover the £75 excess costs. They were rude and unhelpful on the phone and even suggested that I travel round the centre of Paris in a country where I don't speak the language trying to get it replaced! Most unsatisfactory and not acceptable.
In short, they did not deliver the service they said they would.
