Review of Travel Insurance Web Annual Multi-trip Policy

We had a very poor experience with Travel Insurance Web when it came to making a claim.

My wife suffered complications in early pregnancy and we had to cancel a trip. Travel Insurance Web eventually rejected the claim on the basis that we knew that she was pregnant when we booked the trip.

It would have been nice to know when taking out the insurance that they view pregnancy as a pre-existing medical condition. If that wasn't possible, it would have been good if they told us at the beginning of the process - not 4 months (and countless communications) after we reported the cancellation.

They advertise that they are cheap ... and they are.
