I took out motor cycle insurance through Saga 06 October 2009. After several calls to the helpdesk I still (12.11.09) do not have the policy documents, schedule or certificate.
I have been promised that the documents had been posted, but subsequently have also been promised that they would be faxed (not arrived), posted by Recorded delivery (not arrived) and even following day guaranteed delivery (not arrived).
At my latest attempt to speak to the help desk (07.11.09) I gave up after being on hold for 36 minutes. I have emailed (05.11.09, to the address listed on the Saga web-site) and sent a fax (09.11.09, to the no. provided by the telephonist at Saga Head Office), in the hope of getting some response and still no reply, not even an acknowledgement.
Today (12.11.09) I have sent a letter by recorded delivery to Saga registered office in Folkestone, in an attempt to get my insurance documents. I regret changing insurer to save £17.00.
