If it were not for the fact that my Cat now has an ongoing condition, I would switch Insurers in an instant.
Every contact with their customer service has been stressful, irritating, and frustrating.
They managed to lose one of two claims that were sent in the same envelope, and then sent me a claim form for a Policy with a different company (Petwise) that had expired 5 years ago!
When I resent the missing claim, they lost that too, and then mysteriously found the original one two days later, when I complained to their CEO via email.
I sent a continuation claim (for the same condition), 18 days ago, and it's not yet been paid. I called them today, to be told that there is currently a 1 month backlog on handling claims (even continuation claims like mine)
My cat needs regular treatment for her condition, but my Vet is understandably reluctant to continue to give treatment when he has a bill from nearly 3 weeks ago still outstanding.
ADSA Pet Insurance is administered by BDML. I actually switched insurers from Scottish Pet Insurance when they were taken over by BDML several years ago, because of the appalling service I received back then. It seems that nothing has improved (in fact, if anything, it's got worse), and had I known that ASDA were adminstered by BDML, I would not have taken it out.
Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with them.
