I have been with Hastings for years, but this will be the last. For the same reasons as a lot of other people who have reviewed them... they never answer their phones, they lose things, they got the name wrong on my policy and wanted to charge me £35 to correct their mistake.
I have tried to add a named driver to my policy for a couple of weeks, a member of my family with the same name as me who is over 50 and they wanted to charge me 85 quid.
I am NOT happy with them, and will never use them again. They may be cheap, but they don't seem to care about long standing customers and the staff on the end of the phone are obviously told to get as much money as possible out of current customers.
This is just another example of a company who doesn't put the customers first.
