Boiler broke down and an engineer came out who said it needed a new part and he would order it. We phoned every day for an update to be fobbed off with the fact they were still waiting for an ETA for part. Contract states if boiler is not repaired within 72 hrs they will supply 2 heaters but when asked about this they told us we could have £30 in a cheque in 7 to 10 days!
Two weeks later and not one phone call from them but us chasing it every day we have now been told they need the number of the boiler before they can order the part and the reason for the delay was the engineer was on jury service. But when the same man turned up to make a note of the boiler guess what; he hadn't a clue what they were talking about!
Two weeks on an eight month old baby ill with bronchitis still no sign of the man from 'homeserve' so we are going to have to get our own engineer in and try and get back the £50 excess they rapidly took off is at the first phone call.
