I agree with the comments above. I have also had too many problems to mention. It is 7 months on and my claim has still not been settled. Forget trying to phone the UK number, as you get told it's being dealt with by Mapfre / central complaints. Forget trying to email them, they've had my complaint for 3 months and haven't replied to any of my emails.
I have never experienced such poor and incompetent customer service before and quite frankly I'm amazed this company is still trading.

I believe Insure and Go use the same underwriters as my travel company - Virgin Money. The underwriters, Mapfre in Ireland, were most inefficient and more or less left my tour operator to sort out my hotel and taxi back to the airport after I broke my ankle in Cuba. They caused me to run up a phone bill of £600 as they didn't let me know what was happening. There are too many problems to mention, but the worst was they gave me incorrect medical advice which caused me to be taken into hospital with a pulmonary embolism, just 3 days after I got back to the UK.
