I had my car stolen on the 27 Aug 2011. I have been in regular contact with the One Call underwriters and as yet have not recieved a pay of for the theft of my car.

Each time I phone I have been told that the police report had not been received. Some success on 9 Dec when I was told the report had been recieved and I should expect an offer by Christmas. This hasn't happened.

Another call on the 11 Jan 2012 to be told that they were still awaiting the police report. I questioned this immediately and was put on hold. I was told that the supervisor had agreed that they would process the payment as I had been waiting for such a long time. They would be posting a cheque to me the following day.

Yes, you have guessed it correctly, no cheque in the mail yet.

The battle continues.

I am in the very same position. I've been ringin every week but got the same excuses as you. I've now filed a formal complaint and they have 8 weeks to sort it or the ombudsman steps in.
