I cancelled my business insurance with Assure UK on 27th April, made a phonecall and sent an email regarding the cancellation as I had paid this years insurance premium in full. I asked if the monies owed back to me would be sent out in cheque form or another way, they said they would get accounts to phone me back...no phonecall back.
I left it a few days and phoned again - for a second time they said that accounts would call me back within the hour.....no phone call back again. It is now 3 weeks later and not a single bit of acknowledgement have I received.
I called on 16th May in the early morning and spoke to someone and I stated that I have been waiting 3 weeks and I would like it sorting please. The lady on the phone put me on hold so she could get through to accounts, when she came back to me she said she would get accounts to ring me back within the hour. I told her that no one had phoned me back before and asked her to confirm that they would definitely phone me back. She replied "yes, if they don't I'll check on it in an hour and make sure they will". Guess what......no phonecall.
Maybe Assure UK should invest in some customer service training. Thank god I never had to put a claim in. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
