Like Vicky George, I paid my fonesafe phone insurance without question for years without ever having to make a claim.
When I finally did make a claim after my phone was stolen recently, I was informed that my insurance did not cover my handset, which had been upgraded since I originally took the insurance out a few years previously, as I had not informed them about the upgrade. This is despite T-Mobile asking if I wanted to continue with my insurance when I had the upgrade.
It seems I too had been paying my insurance for years for absolutely nothing. The whole episode made me completely frustrated with T-Mobile and Fonesafe.
