Absolutely atrocious service. Homeserve have so far not honoured 3 appointments for a boiler repair, leaving us with no central heating for 3 weeks.
They have no consideration for customer care. We have constantly been promised that somebody will call us back about several issues, and not once has anybody.
They will miss an appointment without informing you, and then move it to a different date, again without contacting you at all so an engineer could turn up unexpectedly at any time, a waste of time for the engineer if there's nobody in.
If ever you gave to deal with them, either for a claim or for a customer complaint, take it for granted that what they are promising is a lie. I have found no way of being able to contact any member of higher management, as everybody I've spoken to refuses to let me. The same goes for talking to their planning team, they do not let customers book appointments with them or talk to them directly. Again, they promised to ring me back and have never done so. This has been the same in every instance without exception.
If it's of any use, they pay £10 per broken appointment as a 'goodwill' gesture, but are not willing to pay compensation. I'm currently still waiting for my £30 cheque, which I do not expect to receive without a struggle/at all.
