We are still in the process of trying to get a boiler repaired, but the appaling level of service received so far has meant that after 1 month we still have an unrepaired boiler.
We have been asked to be at home on 4 or 5 occasions and only twice have appointments been kept. Homeserve seem incapable of organising an engineer to visit and keep us informed of the progress with the claim.
The level of incompetence is mind boggling; again and again they do not call to provide an update having committed that they will call within the hour, by the end of the day etc.
This mirors a similar experience we had with Homeserve a year ago with a drainage claim, which has still not been completely resolved.
I am now going to look for alternative providers of this type of insurance, though if memory serves there weren't too many available.
