Review of British Gas Homecare Boiler Cover

I have to disagree with the reviews for Homecare. We just used British Gas for the first time when our boiler stopped working. I called them at 7:30am and paid £138 for the fixed price option plus a £2 per month ongoing subscription. An appointment was booked for beetween 12-6pm the same day.

True to their word, an engineer arrived just after 4pm and diagnosed a faulty gas valve. As British Gas have to fix and service all types of boilers they had to order the replacement part and would return the following day to fit it and complete a full service.

Again, true to their word, they arrived about 1pm the next day and proceeded to fit and service the boiler getting it back to full working order.

All in all, they did exactly what they promised and got our hot water and heating working again in just over 24 hours. With an 18 month old child that was much appreciated.
