I have been paying my premium to Payment Shield for several years.
Last July I was made redundant and decided to make a claim against my policy. The company wrote back asking me to fill in a very lengthy form including two sections that had to be completed by my previous employers and the jobcentre. I did everything they asked and sent the form back.
They replied by saying they now wanted another form from the jobcentre, by now I was on a full time training course (which I am paying for myself), I had to take time off to visit the jobcentre to get the extra form.
I sent the form off and a few days later they replied and said that they couldn't pay me any money because I'm on a training course !!! (The one I'm paying for out of my own money!!!)
Very bad experience.
