The above company is the most unprofessional company I have come across for a long time. They claim that they are able to provide callouts in 24 hrs in emergency and 48 hrs in non emergency (latter was promised only verbally and I now understand why).
I contacted them last Saturday and they promised to get back to me within 48 hrs. On Monday when I chased then I was told that my log was closed as they thought that my boiler was under warranty (where they got that information nobody knows). A new log was raised. I was then told that they cannot find any records that an annual service has been carried out (without it they will have to charge me for any work carried out).
Luckily I had the telephone number for the contractor who carried out the annual service last February and I contacted them. This contractor told me that they no longer deal with Coverheat because they have not been paid and told that Coverheat is an immoral and shabby company. They have now taken a court action against Coverheat.
After making several phone calls to Coverheat I got absolutely nowhere. I got an impression that they will try any trick to delay things and not to have to send an engineer over. As the weather was getting colder I was left no other option than to call British Gas which sent me an engineer within 2 hrs and I now have heating back on again. After paying £160 to Coverheat all I got from them was POOR and unprofessional customer service. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
