After weeks of finally making a claim I go on holiday and when I come back the replacement phone they sent me was a major downgrade.
I rang them as soon as I got back and they told me they couldn't do anything about it as I hadn't called them within 2 weeks of sending it. I then cancelled my policy as I feel this is possibly one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The staff are dismissive and argumentative. Average time of calls in half an hour plus.
To add insult to injury the replacement phone stopped working on day 3. I rang them back again and they said to send the phone back in for repair? It's been a month now and I am still without a phone. I was told that the assessment proved I had dropped the phone??????? And since I cancelled my insurance I had to lump it. I DID NOT drop the phone.
I rang the assessors direct and they then told me it was liquid damage???? I asked for a full report and that they send the phone back to me as I was getting a 2nd opinion. They then rang me back to say that it was infact a manufacturing fault and the phone was not damaged by me.
I then rang Fonsafe back and they now say that they cant do anything about it??? Why take take the phone back and assess it if you cant do anything about it. I am now awaiting a manager to call me.
God knows how much more of my time they are going to waste and what outcome will eventuate?
