Review of Coverheat Boiler Breakdown Insurance

The Coverheat claim is that they will give emergency assistance within 24 hours (normally 2). Despite numerous telephone calls and several e-mails the only response that I had was a request for details of the last boiler service that I had done.

After 41 hours of waiting I decided to contact another company (OK it was British Gas) and an engineer came and fixed the problem in 2 hours! This company ie. Coverheat should be avoided at all costs - they are rubbish and take the premium very quickly but do not provide the service promised. I've reported them to the Financial Ombudsman but doubt I'll get a refund.

I have had the same issues! They didn't come to look at my faulty boiler for over a week. Then to add insult to injury they claimed the fault could not be identified during the engineer visit and proceeded to charge me for his visit! It has been 3 months since I reported the fault. I complained, so now they won't resolve my issue until the complaint has been dealt with. AVOID COVERHEAT if you like being warm.
