Been with E&L for 3 years and recently had to claim when my photo equipment was stolen from my car.
As there where no signs of entry they are refusing to pay out, even after supplying them with the crime number, photos of the stolen equipment, receipts, full details of what happend, they are still refusing the claim and hiding behind there T&C's to get out of paying out.
The issue is still on going and I will probably have to take it to the insurance ombudsman to resolve.
After looking at other review sites this seems to be the general view of E&L insurance.
